The Victoria ISD Board of Trustees is seeking an educational leader to serve as the Superintendent of Schools. The candidate qualifications:
Possess Texas Superintendent certification
Doctorate preferred
Superintendent experience preferred (minimum 3 years)
Administrator experience required (minimum 5 years)
Teaching experience required (minimum 3 years)
Planning and construction experience preferred
School finance and budget experience preferred
Has experience with bond elections preferred
Required to live in the district

April 25, 2024 | Victoria ISD Board of Trustees accept Dr. Quintin Shepherd's resignation and names Deputy Superintendent Randy Meyer as the Interim Superintendent.
April 4, 2024 | Dr. Quintin Shepherd, Superintendent of Schools is approved by the Pflugerville ISD Board of Trustees as the lone finalist for Superintendent of Schools for Pflugerville ISD.

The VISD Board of Trustees is seeking input from every VISD stakeholder as the board of trustees embarks on the important process of selecting and hiring the next superintendent for our district.
Community feedback is crucial in helping the board identify the qualities and priorities that our community values in our next leader. Whether you are a parent, student, staff member, or community member, your voice matters, and we want to hear from you. We encourage all stakeholders to take a few moments to participate and share their thoughts. Your input will directly influence the decision-making process and ensure that the new superintendent aligns with the needs and aspirations of our district.
