Victoria East High School is excited to announce the appointment of John Ford as the new head football coach for the Titans. With an impressive background in coaching and teaching, Coach Ford brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to the program.
Coach Ford joins Victoria East High School after serving as the offensive coordinator for the past year, where he played an integral role in implementing the new football program under Coach Reeve. With his expertise in offensive strategies and player development, Coach Ford has already made significant contributions to the team's success.
Prior to his tenure at Victoria East High School, Coach Ford held coaching positions at various schools, including Gonzales High School, Hutto High School, Canyon High School, Rouse High School, and New Caney High School. His extensive coaching experience spans over a decade, during which he has served in various capacities, including offensive coordinator, offensive line coach, quarterback coach, tight ends coach, and defensive coordinator.
In addition to his coaching roles, Coach Ford has also been actively involved in education, teaching subjects such as World Geography, World History, Economics, Government, and US History at multiple school districts.
