Victoria ISD’s Talent Acquisition, Support and Retention (TASR) Office has been transitioning to a new application and employment platform, TalentEd (Unified Talent) by PowerSchool, over the past several months. The newest component of this talent management solution platform, TalentEd Hire - Applicant Tracking, will launch on the VISD Employment Link beginning on Monday, Oct. 18.
The route to finding your OccuPassion has never been easier. By streamlining all hiring-related processes, TalentEd Hire - Applicant Tracking will make the applying, interviewing, and hiring process for prospective VISD candidates much faster and more convenient.
TalentEd Hire - Applicant Tracking allows prospective candidates to create a user profile to apply for one or multiple positions within VISD quickly and efficiently. The new platform automates communications between TASR, candidates and hiring managers and ensures submission of complete applications which can then be processed immediately. The new platform improves data accuracy and creates digital personnel files which eliminates physical filing and storage constraints.
Applicants can transfer application data between districts, receive instant communication updates and stay informed of new positions by signing up for district job alerts. Hiring managers and principals can also access application materials from any location and save time in the hiring process by scheduling interviews in bulk. Upon being selected and recommended for a position, the onboarding process is also conducted through the TalentEd platform.

TalentEd Hire - Applicant Tracking is the second component of the TalentEd Suite VISD’s TASR Office has implemented. The department began utilizing TalentEd - Records in April 2021 for employee contracts, forms, onboarding and required trainings.
